I wanted to try red again but with a man this time and who else better to experiment red with then ROY! 

Not much to say, I kept it simple. Just the color red, black garments and Roy's gorgeous looks!  Enjoy

Meet Justin Coale! We were supposed to shoot almost a year ago and a agency he was with told him not to shoot with me (evil grin). 

He's very charismatic, open minded and seems naturally pumped about shooting. He also needs very little direction especially since I keep things pretty broad.

Red
You might remember the gorgeous Samantha Snyder from my enchanted little story I did ( she had lavender pigtails ).This time around I wanted to just photograph her and keep it simple. Sam every other month does something new with her hair..pink...lavender..chocolate brown...now Red. When she told me back in November that red was going to be her new color to start off 2013 I figured I have this gorgeous girl with those hollywood cheekbones and she's busty with long red hair....Jessica Rabbit!...So we tried to channel a little of that character in the shoot but over all we kept the concept loose and just played around with red props and backdrop.....A big thank you to my best friend Joshua Marz for helping me put it all together the day of lol (Im always last min) &  Samantha for .. well just being Sam,  Shes amazing!

It always starts with a Stingel

For me theres no better way to start off my 2013 blogging then with gratitude and images of Mr.Stingel. He's been there since day one when I first put myself on model mayhem and got enough nerve to photograph somebody I didn't really know personally. No matter what crazy idea I came up with he has always been up for it and I greatly appreciate him for allowing me to evolve while he played my handsome test subject...Hell most of the people that knew me in the beginning were because of him lol Thank you Shawn Stingel!

Happy Holidays and New year

December becomes rather hectic for me as I'm sure it does for most others.  I have my birthday..(turning 31 on the 11th)  Then xmas, the holiday parties & New years, not to mention I work in a salon so its usually a bit crazy the entire month at work.... Meaning =  I wont have time to shoot all month so I decided to take a cute pic of my roommate Stacey looking like she's enjoying all the festive gold colors and glitter this month brings with it.........So Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! I'll see you in 2013 which I hope to take it up another level. Have a safe and fun filled festive month....Y.M.I.J.

A enchanted little story

A couple months ago my co worker Samantha showed me a place on her phone called the enchanted forest which she thought would be a really cool place to shoot at. ( The enchanted forest was a theme park that was shut down in 89' and is located behind a big shopping plaza.) We figured there had to be a way in since theres youtube videos of people in there from the last few years. We found a way in ;)  and at this point it has some remaining fairytale like buildings that are broken down covered in unmanicured vegetation, cobwebs and graffiti. After finding a way in and scouting the area Samantha, Jon and I thought..........F%$K YA!  we wanna shoot here!  We just needed to come up with a concept and who would be in it. After a couple months of planning,bickering, painting, buying customs,recasting and potentially canceling the shoot...We finally shot it and this is what we came up with and I LOVE it!  

Thank you Samantha, Jon,Tanya,Kasey,Hannah and Ashley  for starting at 6 a.m. and giving me a entire morning of your time to create this little story and my best friend Joshua Marz for making the two illustrations in the story.....Y.M.I.J
